• List:
  • Identify all existing Wikipedia Java-related articles (with Category:Java platform or a subcategory). Y
  • List Java topics not already covered in Wikipedia articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
  • Expand and format the list of articles accordingly. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_articles) Y
• Tag:
  • Put the project banner {{WikiProject Java}} on Java-related articles' talk page to make editors aware of the existence of this project. Y
• Assess:
  • Assess (or reassess) unassessed articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/Assessment) Y
  • Increase article quality towards Start, C, B, A, GA or FA status according to their importance level. *
• Write:
  • Write the listed redlink articles. (See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Java/List_of_article_requests)
  • Put an Infobox like {{Infobox software}} in articles where applicable.
• Maintain:
  • Maintain the WikiProject Java.
