Goals

Develop and maintain alphabetical index articles on Wikipedia.
Develop standards for indexes in the encyclopedia.

Project scope

This project covers all alphabetical index articles on Wikipedia, and all links leading to them.

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

Expand : Index of dance articles

Add links to all indexes to the index list

The index list is at Wikipedia:Contents/Indices.

Fix tables of contents

Many index pages have sections that don't show up on their tables of contents (TOCs).

These need to be fixed using a TOC template. {{Compact TOC}} works great for this.

The hunt for index pages that aren't called "Index of"

They hide in two ways:

By not being included in Wikipedia:Contents/Indices, or
By not having "Index of" in their titles

When you find them, please add them to the list below.
