My friend runs a Mumble (software) server and would like to be able to let people in without them knowing the password (so that they can't divulge the password to anyone else). Mumble has a certificate system to recognise registered users on a server, so we're thinking that maybe we could set Mumble to allow certified users in, as well as users with the password, but not users with neither. I realise this is not the place to ask about Mumble specifically, but I'm curious if such a system exists in general, if it has a name, and where I might read more about it. 81.147.166.89 (talk) 03:27, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
