Hello, i need to reapeat a hotspot AP. I saw the «repeater» mode in iwconfig man page. I tried it.
ip link set wlp2S0 down iwconfig wlp2s0 mode repeater ap XX:XX:XX:XX:XX ifconfig wlp2s0 up
All exit code are equal to 0, but the driver does'nt report the association as it does in managed mode, and don't see any SSID with less powerful cards on other devices nearby the laptop repeater.
iwconfig alone report that it is associated with the MAC address but it don't seem to be the case.
I also don't if it normal I can't use DHCP in that mode.
Hope you'll help. 86.74.141.154 (talk) 00:46, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Here in this interesting nutritionist article. (where the Abstract is).
and by the way, is there any way to "unveil" the type of font? thanks. Ben-Natan (talk) 00:56, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Hey guys, I've got a Sony Walkman (apparently a "series S" according to the top picture on that article - it resembles the one on the far right.) Music? I still use the old casette one from the 80's. ;) Video? Works great - very admirable for such a small device. Pictures? There's my problem. I can view them fine, but I can't figure out how to zoom in at all. I have some comics that I would like to view on it, but the text is just too small to read. I've got my PSP as a backup (tested) just in case. There must be a way to do this, as you can zoom in on videos; it must be trivial to zoom in on pictures. Any ideas? Thanks! --.Yellow1996.(ЬMИED¡) 01:16, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
As a followup to my question about youtube downloads, where it was suggested above I use Firefox, I have been trying to download the browser. Both sites (the second was through CNET) ended up giving me downloads with trojan horses, and optional software that I could decline. Can anyone suggest a direct link to a safe Firefox download? (I know to do a custom install to avoid the unwanted "goodies") Thanks. μηδείς (talk) 18:59, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
