Or rather, not. I have a router which is working fine and connecting to computer #1. But #2 is not connecting. A bar chart bottom right is green and says things are excellent. 2 little tvs bottom right say there is a wireless connection albeit at a low strength. Clicking on it suggests mighty little contact has passed through it. Typing 192.168.0.100 into the url bar does not bring up the router start page on #2. Have you tried connecting on #2 (what OS) (ie wireless connection wizard or something similar) - does it fail (how) or succeed?

• If fail is it possible to bring #2 closer to the router (or the router closer to #2) and try again - if this works it might be a simple problem of signal strength - there are solutions for this.

I have a complex HP networked printer, it has a big LCD display and everything. Should |I try to shut it down in some special way, as with a PC, or should I just flick the on/off switch. The Power (On/Off) button/switch should do it (unless it is a physical switch on the back of the printer, in which case there probably is a more "soft" way of powering it down). A model number would help. --Andreas Rejbrand (talk) 22:16, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
