The issue was initially image dispute. However, the consensus says go for the PlayStation covers. Therefore, image enhancement is needed. However, the images are non-free. If converting Wipeout 2097 PS1 cover to PNG is possible, yet the image shouldn't be too big, how can the images not be too small? Pinging Jaguar, Mika1h, and Lordtobi about this. I might miss others, but they were more concerned about minimizing amount of files. Will contact the project about this soon. -- George Ho (talk) 22:32, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Details of your request go here… -- as per the work for Landres; please crop, & rotate to true vertical; retaining full resolution (as we are hosting the original scan of the artifact). please retain a small border around the edges of the postcard, to retain a sense of it as a physical object & artifact. for use as "history of" & "in art". also used in the article about the creator/distributors of these postcards (Comité des Étudiants Américains de l'École des Beaux-Arts Paris). Dear graphists, could you please upload a separate crop of Friedrich Muhlberg′s portrait? It′s “Prof. Fritz Mühlberg”, with glasses. very grateful… -- 178.197.227.119 (talk) 00:00, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I uploaded my first attempt. It would be useful to get feedback on which parts of the image look off, so that I can improve them. Auguel (talk) 09:09, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Auguel I'm not an expert. All I can say is that I'm glad that finally someone took this request. We probably should wait and see what the other graphists think. By the way, the original image is 2,449 × 1,751 pixels while the cropped one is 800 × 850 pixels, what a reduce in size. Makes it a little bit small for infobox but it's still the best choice. Thanks. Keivan.fTalk01:29, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Keivan.f to me the picture definitely seems off, but because I stared at it for so long its hard to pinpoint the reason. Can you give it a try? When you look at it what part makes you think some thing is wrong here? I can make the size bigger, but you did want it cropped right? Auguel (talk) 08:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Auguel Yes, the cropped version is fine. As you asked me to look at it, to be honest, the only part that seems a little bit unnatural is her eyes. The hair, coat, and everything else looks pretty good. Excellent job! I think it's ready to be used in the article. Do you agree? Keivan.fTalk09:00, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I made an attempt to improve the eyes and teeth. What do you think? Also I used png because it is a lossless file format whereas jpg is compressed and can leave compression artifacts on the image. Auguel (talk) 03:36, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please straighten, crop and turn black and white. Please don't crop away any parts of the individual in the photograph by either rotating or recreating sections if needed. The image isn't straight so simple crop doesn't seem to work. Thanks. -- KAVEBEAR (talk) 18:46, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Could you fix the white balance so its doesn't appear as faded and remove some of the spots or dirt in the photo? Cropping and straightening wouldn't hurt either, but I could do that. -- Niagara Don't give up the ship02:16, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Could someone please re-upload this image, so that the image size is bigger and more clear? Right now, it just looks so extremely small, even when you click on the image, in lets say a Wiki article. The image is completely in free use, so don't hesitate at all to overwrite the file. The images is taken from here.[1][2]. Thanks a lot (so basically a bigger and more clear re-upload, if that makes sense) -- LouisAragon (talk) 04:45, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I removed any coherent noise (halftone dots and slight horizontal striping), cleaned up the background and made the image brighter. Is there anything else you think should be improved? —Quibik (talk) 12:25, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Could you create a vertical montage with these two images? Because the during-flood image has bits of my car in it, you'll have to crop it, and presumably you'll have to crop the other image to cause it to be in proportion. Nyttend (talk) 18:33, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please create crop images of Hubert Rance, Robert Sturges, Bülent Bostanoğlu, Abidin Ünal, Mohsin Ahmad al-Aini and Kadré Désiré Ouedraogo out of these pics. -- Sundostund (talk) 20:26, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please remove "Safavid Empire of Nadir Shah" entirely from the legend, and make everything thats coloured in the map according that legend's colour (dark purple), the same colour as the color given for the "Durrani Empire" (dark green). I double checked the source given; it doesn't state anything about a "Safavid Empire of Nadir Shah" at the time, and yeah, in fact, this is indeed verifiably bogus, as the "Nadir Shah" in question, was already dead in 1747 and his empire broke apart, with the easternmost territories swiftly taken by the Durranis. So, basically; remove everything dark purple + the legend, and make the area that used to be dark purple, dark green (in other words, make the "Durrani Empire" bigger). - LouisAragon (talk) 02:44, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@PawełMM:, before I forget; would you perhaps be able to upload the same new revision on the file itself, instead of uploading a new, separate one as you did right here? That'd save some effort as I wouldn't have to replace it on the numerous articles it's located atm. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 22:04, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@LouisAragon: I have the second file intentionally on new name loaded. In the first it is Historical Atlas by Raman, Ranjoy ; L.K. Publications Delhi, 1951 as the source added. PawełMM (talk) 14:27, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@PawełMM:, yep I know, but that's no issue. The source was actually mis-cited (as stated above), so you would be just able to upload it on the same file and it would become verifiably correct. Hope this makes sense. - LouisAragon (talk) 15:03, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please crop the group photograph (i.e. the second one) from the photograph of the King's Study. Capture everything in the frame of the image on that desk including recreating the parts covered by the book. Thanks. -- KAVEBEAR (talk) 18:26, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please 1. reupload a larger image of this cover from the pdf source. 2. Then crop a derivative file from this larger file with the head of the tiki with these same dimension but making it brighter and digitally removing the text. Thanks. -- KAVEBEAR (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
