please remove dull grey parchmenty background… you don't have to mess around too much inside the flags, they would likely lose detail, just please make them look less like photocopies-- Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 15:04, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So much for leaving it up to the requester. (Hohum@)
The OP had marked this request "resolved" with the comment "Wow, that's much better than I expected! Thank you!" and moved on. Despite his indicated complete satisfaction, however, you nonetheless took it upon yourself to unilaterally overwrite it with a very dark and grossly oversaturated version. In cases like this, the proper procedure if an editor wants to offer and alternative is to upload such a new file on a new page and add it to the workshop request's gallery which an OP can then compare and select if he wants to as opposed to overwriting a version that the OP has accepted as having already fully met the request. You couldn't just leave it to them to decide. Your attitude is awful; I believe it is driving other editors away from contributing to the lab. You have severe WP:OWN issues. It's tiresome, not collegiate, and detrimental. Anyone can make "unilateral" improvements to images, asked or unasked. (Hohum@) 00:48, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Your are perfectly free to offer an alternative version by uploading one on a new page, adding it to the gallery here, and leave it to the OP if he wants to use that one instead on one or more pages. Why is that so hard for you to accept instead of just overwriting the contributions of others that the OP has already accepted as "much better than I expected"? (Also the word you apparently meant is "collegial", not "collegiate" which means something quite different.) Centpacrr (talk) 02:14, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
In order to give the OP a full range of choices I have created two additional file pages, one with the original adjusted and with the projection on the wall visible, and a second with the alternate cropped version. The OP now has three versions to pick from. Centpacrr (talk) 22:47, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
