Hydraulic fracturing in the United States

Request: I am just wondering can somebody make a US state map for the page of Fracturing in the United States. which states ban it and which state have it legal. I know that the state of New York,and Vermont banned fracking in 2012, Maryland banned fracking in 2017, and Washington banned fracking in 2019. Evangelical10002 (talk) 15:16, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

@Evangelical10002: If you want someone to create this map, you should provide a source containing the data to be included in the map. This workshop is not a place to find researchers, only map makers. Auguel (talk) 19:19, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

We can make the map, but you should provide the source. If you're not sure what type of data is needed, you should just find a source (or several) indicating the policy of each state on hydraulic fracturing. You have a good start in your request indicating the policy of New York, Vermont, Maryland, and Washington (although this should be sourced), but you need to provide the information for every state.
