I gave a shot at editing the first two images. I think they came out less blurry and bloomy. In the "young" image I also fixed some scratches and tears. I reduced the Moiré patterns in the third image somewhat, but not entirely (the image is in Commons with the same name).

By the way, presuming you scanned these 3 images by yourself, could you perhaps re-scan them (if necessary) and upload them in higher resolution? That way the Moiré patterns would have shorter wavelengths and would be much easier to remove. —Quibik (talk) 19:38, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a scanner. The images were taken from Google books, though I also have a copy of Brother Musicians as a reference for the article. • PawełMM did the right thing by uploading the new image separately. Photography of artworks is very tricky, and it seems to me that the original colors could be either one of these. I haven't seen the original painting firsthand because it's not in a public collection. It's owned by Daniel Dietrich II. I've asked Mr. Dietrich through a mutual friend if I can photograph his collection, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Regardless, though, I'm not totally satisfied with PawełMM's version. This version (the old low-res one) seems to be exactly what we should be shooting for. The high resolution one I uploaded (above, left) has over-saturated skin tone; PawełMM's version has the right skin tone, but the rest of it looks washed out. Raul654 (talk) 05:28, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Request: One of the downsides to shooting LED signs during the day is that the fast shutter occasionally makes a line in the LED sign that you don't normally see. The message should read, "|| ORANGE ||". Requesting that this be filled in to make it readable. Four lines of LEDs in the middle of the image are missing. The missing LED bulbs are present in the image, but just not lit. The full message would look like this:
