- Comment: There are many such categories housed in Category:Fictional females by medium and Category:Fictional males by medium. It wouldn't make much sense to delete just one of them. —Xezbeth (talk) 08:13, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
- Keep Portrayal of men on television is a topic worthy of coverage. At this high level though it feels like the contained articles won't have a great deal directly in common. I would prefer if role or genre was used in child categories, such as male antagonists in television or male characters in television dramas, for example. SFB 19:32, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

- Procedural keep Nominator's argument makes equal sense for male and female characters in television, and getting rid of just one is pointless; delete both by-sex trees for TV characters, or keep both of them, but don't get rid of one and retain the other. Nyttend (talk) 22:45, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: delete per WP:NONDEF, it is based on a single source, of the Appalachian Regional commission which had been established specifically for economic development of the Appalachians. Besides the county articles barely mention that they are on the list of this commission. Note that these counties have already been listified in List of Appalachian Regional Commission counties.
