Function Details: I performed this correction on italian wikipedia creating a manually-checked list of about 250 domain transitions. This list includes almost all linked websites on it.wiki with a non-.yu working mirror. I checked all deep linked pages on it-wiki, but I did not check for every internal page of every website. For this reason I'm going to replace home page links only.

Have you spoken with the owner of MerlLinkBot? He seems to be approaching a very similar task to your own - you might look to join forces, or cover different sections or whatever. - Jarry1250 ^{(t, c)} 10:23, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As Jarry1250 suggested, I asked Merlissimo if he was interested in my list. Few days ago he answered me (on his own discussion page so I didn't read it immediately) to post it on mail:wikibots-l. I just posted it on the mailing list, in this way it will be useful also on other WPs. I also saw MerlLinkBot uses a different (non-regex) approach.
