Function Details: This bot queries articles in the Candidates for speedy deletion category. It then goes through the individual article names and finds the creator of the article. Once the creator is found it loads the creator's talk page and scans for any occurance of the article name that is nominated for speedy deletion. If there are no occurances it will add the nn-warn template to the bottom of the talk page.

It is currently written to use the generic nn-warn template as suggested on the bot request page. Although I could easily have it load each article and find which tag it is using and place the corresponding notification template on the user's talk page. --Android Mouse 20:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slow down mate. You are refering to User:Android Mouse Bot, which has nothing to do with this bot besides it sharing a similar name and being written by me. If you take a look at the account you are refering to, you will find it had no edits at all. Plus, I find it an insult that use the term 'spamming' when the bot had been previously approved. I was only following through with a bot request. I'd kindly appreciate if you would unblock/undelete the Android Mouse Bot 2 account so I can get along with testing it. I've run 50 test edits. There was a problem with the bot notifying the an author when they nominated the article for deletion themselves and an issue with the bot accidently using a wrong article name when notifying. These problems are fixed now. --Android Mouse 16:14, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
