• Delete This doesn't seem right either, the formula computes the compression ratio, not the quality. Also, the notation Q_f usually means Q is a familiy parameterized by f. This is not the case here and Q_f simply seems to stand for "quality factor", raising further suspicion this is original research. —Ruud 15:29, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
