Open API

This article is written more like an opinion piece than an encyclopedia article, and it has been for a very long time (the essay-like tag has been there for over seven years ). An "Open API" isn't really a standalone topic; it's just a Web 2.0 buzzword (WP:NOTDIC) about making APIs public. I would suggest this article be merged into Open data, but I don't think there's any content here that could be merged without having to be substantially revised or rewritten due to the unencyclopedic tone. Keep. OpenAPI is very different from OpenData, and deserves an article of its own. Weak Keep There are a number of sources about the idea and it appears that it's more of that, and idea, than a product. The first 50 Google hits make that clear.
