Hello, I think it's important that you make clear that this account is unconnected to my account-- that you are not an admin using an alternative account. --Deepfriedokra(talk)23:22, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Deepfriedokra2! Your additions to Draft:Washington University College of Medicine have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:09, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Deepfriedokra2!
Having an article declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:15, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, just to expand on this — I don't believe such an institution even exists; if it does, please provide credible evidence ASAP, as otherwise I will request that this draft be deleted. Whereas if you meant to write about the Washington Medical Sciences Institute, then I suggest you start a new draft entirely (assuming of course you can support it with reliable and independent sources). Thank you, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:24, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Deepfriedokra2. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Washington University College of Medicine, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.
If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Deepfriedokra2- I am assisting my client to resubmit for material contribution around the term: Virtual Model Homes. We were mistaken and attached the company name to the submission which has now been blocked. It should be attributed to his personal creation and not for solicitation. I would like to try again fresh with no such advertising. His name, Steve Ormonde was associated with the last submission so I do not want to get blacklisted again. Please help. @cooperevolutionCooperevolution (talk) 00:19, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
New accounts are blocked if their username is too similar to the username of another account. This is done in order to prevent confusion, impersonation, or abuse. This block is not meant to punish you, nor is it meant to imply or accuse you of any wrongdoing.
You are welcome to create a new account with a username that is more easily distinguishable, or if you'd rather continue using this account, request a username change by:
Clicking on "Edit" in order to modify this page.
Adding {{unblock-un|user=your new username here|reason=your reason here}} to the bottom of your talk page.
Replacing "your new username here" with the username you'd like to be changed to, and replacing "your reason here" with any information that you'd like to provide to the reviewing administrator.
Clicking on "Publish changes".
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page here: {{unblock|Your reason here}}. However, it is recommended that you review and understand Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks first.
If this really is your alternate account, DFO, you are of course welcome to unblock it yourself, though I suggest indicating it's yours on the userpage. Primefac (talk) 00:42, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
