This inscription was discovered at the same place as the Kumbarahalli 1033CE Vamanayya's Siddeshwara Temple Lands Boundary Inscription (Tamil).
In March 2021, Mr. Srinivas of Kumbarahalli and his friend, Mr. Dileep Simha of Chikkabanavara, discovered the inscription. They contacted the Mythic Society Bengaluru Inscriptions 3D Digital Conservation Project Team[1], leading to the relocation of the two stone inscriptions to a nearby warehouse. Following that, the same crew conducted a 3D scan of the inscription. Dating from approximately 1033 CE, the inscription was later documented in the Quarterly Journal of the Mythic Society ( Vol 113, issue 2, April- July 2022)[2].
The inscription is inscribed in Tamil language and Tamil-Grantha script and is dated to the 1033CE . The inscription stone measures 250 cm tall and 37 cm wide, while the characters themselves are approximately 3.0 cm tall and 4.8 cm wide and 0.5cm deep.

The inscription is a record of land donations made by Appayyan Vamanayyan to the Siddeshwara temple at Cholisampurasai. These donated lands were to the south of the Chamundayya's fields and the inscription stone marked the northern boundary of the donated land. The inscription additionally mentions that Vamanayyan had obtained verbal approval from the reigning king Rajendra Chola to donate the lands.
