Anonymous user 217.184.142.51 added a not about the deprecation of the language code characters. The prop list still shows only a few characters deprecated. It doesn't look like those characters will be deprecated at least for 5.1. I doubt they would be deprecated ever since some parts of glyph rendering are not possible without determining language. If this refers to something else, please provide a reference so it can be verified. Indexheavy (talk) 21:58, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
any volunteers to create a simple english version? 188.97.80.217 (talk) 18:40, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
As I read the article, I wondered who defines Unicode, or certifies or sets its standards? A section or reference to the standards controlling body for it would be helpful. The lack of that is like talking about the Wireless-A+B+G+N standards and not mentioning who defines/sets them (IEEE). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.41.115.158 (talk) 14:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
These are too small to be read, unless with the display extremely close, even on my iPad 12" in landscape mode (Safari ios 11). Could anyone fix this with a modest adjustment?CecilWard (talk) 12:51, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
In the article should be remark that in Unicode Standard, only characters with the General Category value "Cc" are considered to be the "Control characters", it is 65 characters from ISO 6429, see http://www.unicode.org/glossary/#control_codes. Another characters referenced in the article are named "Format characters", etc. in the Unicode Standard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiri 1984 (talk • contribs) 20:01, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
