Wow, all I can say is this article needs a lot of work. It is very poorly written; it is confusing and poorly organized, and is way too informal in tone. It also needs a lot of expansion. Individual IEEE technical standards are generally not "notable" in the Wikipedia sense. The article at C37.94 presently rehashes a lot of things related to power system automation and specific mention of the topic standard is minimal. Suggest a merge and redirect, collecting whatever text seems generally applicable from C37.94 where it's an improvement to this article. --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:13, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
