Someone reverted the page to delete the part that said that there were issues with Firefox 2.0 and I think IE 5.5. Is this because there no longer is an issue with Firefox 2.0? Google's website says web accelerator is compatible with all versions of Firefox, but I'm not sure if this is accurate. Any ideas?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.196.65 (talk • contribs)

I'm going to assume that is why it was taken off. Google Labs came out with a compatible version (at least for Firefox 2.0) around November 4th. So it is no longer an issue. Sorry for the late response.--Joe Jklin (T C) 07:38, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was having trouble getting on to some applications at my company. These applications were looking at my IP address and seeing the Google Web Accelerator IP instead of my real IP address. The software concluded that I was outside my company's domain and would not let me in. When I turned off Google Web Accelerator, everything was fine. Image:Google web accelerator.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
