The PDFs produced are missing characters (notably ٹ and ہ).

Whenever i download a .pdf on wikipedia,i get only tidles.There's nothing wrong with my Adobe reader.I'm getting this problem with all pages.

I click on the download as pdf.When the file get fully generated,i download it.But the result comes terrible.

Whenever you create a book and "let it be for some time" (session issues?), the book that you've created is automatically erased. Surprisingly, though, if you wait longer, the book tool stops displaying at the top. Then, if you click on the "Create book" link, it asks you whether you want to continue with your last book (this works).

As you already guessed, this happens because of session expiry and we can't do anything about it. That's why we use local storage as a fix/workaround for this "bug" to retrieve the book. And as this is the fix, I'll mark this thread as resolved. Jbeigel (talk) 08:39, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Tiny thing that would make life just that little bit better.

Is it a big job to move the page numbers on a book pdf to the centre of the page?

This would allow double sided printing without the page number on the left hand page being by the fold/staple.
