GAMEWAX founded in 2002 was a Japanese Video Game Development company located in Rugeley, Staffordshire who worked on Arcade titles for Taito and Sega. They are known for Taito's long-awaited sequel the Police Driving game Chase HQ 2 and light gun games Haunted/Panic Musuem 1 & 2 on Type X2. They also developed Dream Raiders on Ringwide for Sega Amusements of Europe. The game featured many tropes and scenarios from different adventure and fantasy settings. The company was dissolved in 2021.
