This is a list of power stations in Pakistan. Pakistan has a total installed power generation capacity of 39,772 MW as on 30 June 2021. Which includes 25,098 MW thermal, 9,915 MW hydroelectric, 1,248 MW wind, 530 MW solar, 369 MW bagasse and 2,612 MW nuclear.[1]

2 Punjab Thermal Power Plant Jhang, Punjab 1263 RLNG Power plant started simple cycle commercial operations on 4 August 2022 by generating 810 MW of electricity from its two RLNG based gas turbines. Work on the 443 MW steam turbine is under final stages.[3]
3 SSRL Thar coal Mine Mouth Power Plant Tharparkar, Sindh 1320 Thar coal 66% Completed. First Unit (660 MW) is targeted by Aug 2022

COD of complete project is targeted by Feb 2023.[4]

4 Coal Power Project, Jamshoro Jamshoro, Sindh 1,320 Imported + Thar coal First 660 MW unit is 91% completed and it's expected COD is in November 2022.[5]

8 Mangla Refurbishment Project Mirpur, Azad Kashmir 310 WAPDA has successfully commissioned two refurbished generating units of the Mangla Hydel Power Station, increasing their capacity from 200 to 270MW. Refurbishment of remaining units is under construction. Upon completion, it will enhance generation capacity of existing power stations from 1000MW to 1310MW.[15]
